At the August meeting we had a visit from Russel and his dog from Paws of War who explained the importance of service dogs with veterans dealing with more than physical ailments. The post also donated 500.00 to Paws of War to help them continue in their program to help veterans get service dogs.
The evening started out with food provided by commander Rogers as a thank you to the post for their support to his programs. During the meeting the commander presented members who helped with Operation TP, collecting 15000 rolls of Toilet Paper for homeless veterans and battered women. He also presented the post with the photos donated by Walter of Medford Post and the painting that is framed donate by Chuck Ferreira of Post 8300.
