Veterans got together today for a Veterans Day Ceremony and to unveil the new Veterans Plaza at the Suffolk County Community College Riverhead Campus. Honoring veterans and their families. Special Honoree today was student and KIA soldier Louis Bonacasa. Present was Sr. Vice Commander for Post 2913 and Jr Vice Commander for Suffolk County Council Dave Rogers, National Legislative Member Joe Cognitore, Cleveland Johnson III from Congressman Zeldin’s Office, Shannon O’Neill Veterans Affairs Officer for Suffolk County Community College, and President of Suffolk County Community College Steady Moono, Ed.D, along with Debra Bonacasa and veterans from the SCCC and around Suffolk County.
