On Sept 17th 2017 Robertaccio Funeral Home in Patchogue, contacted the post for assistance for a Military Service. Senior Vice Commander Dave Rogers, PPC George Egan, PPC Robert “Top” Parente, and Post Chaplin Mike Amodio answered the call. The service was for Edwin Blum, 94 of Palm Springs, Fl. Mr Blum was a former resident of Patchogue.

Family Members reported that he was a very proud WWII US Navy veteran, and were grateful for our assistance in the service. Mr. Blum was laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery.
